We Met Tomorrow & SXSW
Was this the largest audience you ever played to?
No, we played at Latitud 57 in Oskarshamn a couple of years ago and it was a bit more people. These shows were not suited for a big audience since they took place in clubs or pretty small venues.
Did you like Texas?
Yeah it had a good vibe, the people were cool, Austin was a cool town and of course the food was amazing.
Did you see any musicians you look up to?
Sadly no, we didn’t really see that many bands apart from the Swedish ones as we got sick just a few days in.
What impression do you think you made at SXSW?
People liked us and found us interesting. Hopefully it will lead to something bigger in the future!
Do you have more of an American than Swedish audience?
Not really since we’ve only been in the states two times now, but i do think that Americans in general like us. We have more of an American sound.
Did you eat proper barbeque while there?
Yes we did, and it was awesome!
Andy Warhol said everyone will have their 15 minutes of fame. Do you feel confident this is just the beginning of yours?
Hopefully! We got in touch with alot of competent people that can help us alot and we hope to move things forward in the months to come.
Did you feel like Sweden was well represented at SXSW?
Yes, I think the whole ”Swedish team” did an amazing job to show people that Sweden still has good music. They all did everything to help all their acts as much as they could and i think it turned out brilliant!
